Between the Greenie and Nanaman those Ae's will be sky high in no time!

Re: Ae Ae propagation project
From all that I have read and heard about the AE AE banana I am impressed with how beautiful the foilage is. I would think being in what appears to be full sun in south Florida the leaves would burn easily. Very nice, are you feeding them something special to deal with stress? silica or a silica based suppliment maybe?

Re: Ae Ae propagation project
Awesome. I hope to have a similar project someday -- maybe on a slightly smaller scale due to budget constraints. I have two questions for you: do your leaves get burned in that sun exposure, and how far apart are they planted from each other. Thanks.

They do get a little burnt, but nothing to cry about. Look closely at the largest plant. They are planted 6' apart as they are only being grown to produce pups! |
Re: Ae Ae propagation project
here we go.... they are growing well.We can already see a difference

Re: Ae Ae propagation project
