species from the slopes of doi inthanon

i collected this banana species from the mid-range slopes of thailands highest mountain, doi inthanon. this species looked to be 35 ft or more in height. the trunk has a unique orangish cast and brown papery edges on the petiole bases. any ideas?

Looks like a Musa itinerans variety.
