A MATE JUST DROPPED OFF a bunch that fell over on his large property not far from Tully here in the banana capital of Australia .
Very slim fruits that do not look as if they are ripe .. though they seem to have seeds inside . Trying to put up a series of pictures in the gallery |

Very nice find. It appears to be a M. acuminata subsp. banksii. The male bud is a slightly different color from the ones I have seen from the area (which I've seen as solid green), but there is always lots of diversity.
