I have just bought a Red Tiger and i have noticed that the red varigation to the leaves tends to vary tremendously from plant to plant and i was wondering is there any way to ensure the red stripes are vibrant and pleantyful, ie soil like an aeae needs to keeps it varigation,. I would be greatful if anyone could offer any advice on how to get mnine to have lots of red stripes and look its best. Thank you in advance

Mark i think its just the particular plant that determines the amount of colore on the leafs and pedeols iv not heard of any thing one can do except for Siam Ruby's which often have to be in full sun to gain the deepest red on its leafs. that being said id try to give it as much light as possible without burning its leafs up. when picking out a plant if theres a choice id try to get the one that looks the best aways but really that goes with out saying right? Musa and all Bananas for that fact have lots of variation
