Musa Cheeka ppaf?
Although I'm far from being a pro, when I saw a new arrival of musa yesterday afternoon at a local home center I couldn't help but wonder if someone was just messing up the name tags.
These are called "Musa Cheeka ppaf"..... anyone ever saw that before? I've searched long and far but can't find anything. At first glance it looks exactly like my dwarf Cavendish..... except that the stem is quite large in diameter. Is that a real species? |
Re: Musa Cheeka ppaf?
Never heard of Musa Cheeka. I'm assuming that Cheeka is the cultivar, so the name should really be in single quotes. PPAF means Patent Pending and Applied For (you may have already been aware of that part), so it may well be a new cultivar.

Looks like a Dw. Cavendish for the most part.

I have several that were labeled as Cheka but it was a new one on me. Look in my gallery for pictures if you want to compare.
