Default Uncovered Musa Basjoo

Uncovered my big Musa Basjoo today March 8 2014. Looks like it is doing fine cut a little of top and has green centers.

Hello I live in Vernon BC zone 5b. I Have several palms that i overwinter outside. They are trachy fortunei, trachy naini tal, chinese fan palm, european fan palm.

I'm in NE Atlanta and no sprouts yet from mine left in the ground. Stalks are pretty much history, have my fingers crossed!!!! Still hi 30's to low 40's at night but it's warming up into mid 60'-mid 70's for the highs the next few weeks so I should see growth in a few weeks...I hope!

Im in SW ontario,our low this winter was -27.2 c,put my hand in the leaf cage today and the stems are mush but harden up closer to the ground,I might have a foot of stem to start with I hope.Nights are dropping below freezing for the long range forcast so wont be uncovering any time soon.
