Fertilizing Question
Hey everyone. Hope everybody is having some nice healthy growing nanas in their garden, Backyard, or anywhere else.
I have been using a water soluble Fertilizer for my Banana plants and use a Watering Can to get it mixed and applied. Having a lot of Plants this is a long task. Does anyone have a easier way or uses different fertilizer. |

Re: Fertilizing Question
OR .... use a dry granular type (farm vegetable fertilizer triple NPK) apply twice per growing season. Then foliar spray the plant if needed every 2 or 3 weeks using a pump sprayer or garden hose sprayer. .... The granular fertilize is a slow release type and will last longer. The liquid fertilizer is for quick uptake by the plant and require more frequent application to prevent leaching losses and to need to apply 2 or 3 times more fertilizer to compensate the losses. ... I assume you are applying the water soluble as a ground drench rather than as a foliar spray.
