Anyone think they can I.D. this Banana?
 
I tried this last year but still not sure,it is a beauty and has really grown this summer!

Planted on 4-9-10

It definitely has traits which narrow it down some, but there is still a lot of cultivars it could be. You need to have it flower in order for a proper ID.

How about narrowing it down to 3 possibles,since I have NO idea(-;

If we narrow it down to three, that doesn't mean it will necessarily be any of those 3, and at this point they would be almost random guesses. If it means anything to you, it looks like is likely an ABB type, but that still leaves a lot of possibilities.

I posted pics last year and this year and was told........
you have to wait until it flowers,I didn't hold much hope for that but..........


Much to my surprise,it did send out a bloom-stalk-it's getting late in z5 Iowa,would appreciate any help(-:
