Re: Unknown bananas
I got a total of seven bananas all big. Now I have to find a place to plant them all. :bananarow:

Re: Unknown bananas
Orinoco? It's always a good guess.

Re: Unknown bananas
Thanks, Nate, now I have a good lead. :o

Re: Unknown bananas
Thats what I would say right off hand, but who knows right now.

Re: Unknown bananas
i thought orinoco had a light reddish tint in the middle leaf
|
Re: Unknown bananas
Mine are pretty much all green. On the underside of the midrib they have a pink tint and when they are small they seem to have a pink line around the leaf, but that seems to have mostly gone away when it gets larger. There is no verigation on the leafs even when small.

That's a good observation Fernie. It doesn't seem to have any red. Here's an small Orinoco I had last year.

Re: Unknown bananas
My orinoco doesn't have a good leaf on it right now. Maybe in a couple of weeks I can get a good picture of one.
