How soon can I find out true identity of my bananas?
 

How soon can I actually get the true identity of what I bought. I thought I got what I wanted until last night when I read something on .org about not getting the correct bananas from greenearth co.

I bought 5 bananas from there, goldfinger, manzano, dwarf green, Ca gold, and blue java. He was a nice guy but now from reading post it sounds like you rarely get what you actually buy. I am going to rebuy from a member here to get what I actually want but will continue growing those from him but would like to know what I actually have, but I dont know at what point people can help me identify.

when they fruit. need pics of all stages of the flower plus the plant.

sddarkman69 sells tc's near you. he is a forum member. might want to try the dwarf maoli if he still has some, wont disappoint.

He is exactly who I am buying from now to fix the situation so I can atleast get the ones I wanted. What does that 1 taste like?

don't know. supposed to be delicious raw or cooked.

just got mine last spring. fast grower even in pots! beautiful plant one of my favorites. now I am going to find out how well it survives my winters.

sorry, yep tc. I have both blue java and tall namwa and dwarf namwa. bought 7 ice cream bananas from well spring gardens only to find out they were tall namwa. don't look anything like blue java. but I don't regret getting the namwas, like them better than the blue java. but before you ask, no have not eaten either one. to many frosts last winter or I would have.

done right could probably grow bananas in ohio.
