Help with identifying these
 

Need help with identifying these. These were given to me ,but not sure what kind they are. After looking online they all start to look the same. I think the first two pictures are the same kind ,but not 100%. What kind are they? Do they fruit? Is the fruit edible?

The image on the bottom looks just like my Basjoo. Won't know 100% until you get a bloom.

Do they have that little bit of red down the center of the leaf when they are young? I just googled basjoo and I’m getting pictures that look just like mine ,but also getting pictures with leaves solid green with no red.

Did the person whom gave you the two different plants dig them out of their yard?
What name did the person call them.
Any other history of the plant?

We went and dug these out of the yard. The ones in the first and last picture was from the same yard. The ones in the middle picture was across the street from there. All of these came from relatives. They just called them a banana plant. Live in Arkansas.

The one with the red midrib is a Musa basjoo. Some basjoo have the red midrib and some don’t. The other are too young to ID but could be flowering Musa. Like Musa Ornata or velutina. The profile of the leaf and the skinny pstem matches the look of most young flowering banana.

Keep posting pictures as they grow older. And if they flower you will have the best chance for an ID.

Did any relatives that you got your plants from mention that the skinny plants have cute red flowers and small bananas with seeds?

The Musa Basjoos that I have has a reddish rib when young.
