These are some bananas growing at a community garden in Brisbane. They were donated by Blue Sky Backyard Bananas, who have now stopped trading. Unfortunately they got moved around after the floods and we lost track of which is which. I am lead to believe that the following varieties were donated, so it is most likely one of these:
Ladyfinger Bluggoe Ducasse Dwarf Ducasse Goldfinger Pisang Ceylon Blue Java I am pretty sure I have correctly identified the Peysang Ceylon, however I cannot sort out the others. To make it more difficult, they all seem to be struggling a bit. Only two are fruiting at the moment, so these are the ones I am asking for help with now. Variety 1: ![]() ![]() ![]() Variety 2: This one looks most like a dwarf, so I am thinking Dwarf Ducasse, however the trees are about half the girth of others of this variety I have seen, and the bunches are small: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
