Banana or strelitzia?
Can anyone identify this (possible) banana? We bought it a couple of years ago as a "dwarf banana", but looking at it next to a strelitzia I have my doubts it is a banana at all.
 It's being kept as a houseplant in a conservatory in the north of England. Thanks for your help. |

Could also be S. Nicolai. I have several seedling of the S. Nicolai, and they look like the the plant in your picture. The S. Reginae has darker and thicker leaves than the S. Nicolai. That is one way to distinguish between them.
