newbie here from the Philippines

hello

I am ponchit and I grow all kinds of plants specially edible plants. I live in one of the biggest banana exporting islands. My interests are on varieties other than those produced by the hundreds of hectares. I collect Philippine as well as thai varieties and would like to increase my collection by adding those outside of southeast asia. I also am interested in plantain varieties.

I hope to learn a lot from this site.

I am also subscribe to rarefruit-ph a yahoo group of fruit trees and farming enthusiasts

Welcome Ponchit!

I'm very happy that you joined this organization. Members of the rarefruit-ph board appear to hold you as one of their experts with bananas. I'm sure a lot of the members here will be looking forward to your inputs regarding bananas.

Hi Ponchit, here's a big welcome to you from another SEAsian! I too am a big enthusiast in collecting the lesser known cultivars. Hope to hear more from you. :02:
