Bananas require a high potassium fertilizer. I use 6-3-16 from Diamond R Fertilizer - 4100 Glades Cut-Off Road, Fort Pierce, Florida 34981 - 772-464-9300. When I lived in Charlotte, NC I had them ship me the stuff. Comes in 50 lb bags. Great price. Nothing better. And the bunches are BIG!!! :08:

After moving to PSL I can drive over to them now and save shipping.

Sounds fine. Follows the med/lo/hi NPK formula. Go for it.

If you get the chance to move to South Fla ---- do that too!!! lol :08:

Check your local feed/farm supply store. They sell all kinds. You want about a 2-1-4 ratio.

Or contact Crazy Banana. Fruit Fuel is an amazing product and is formulated for banana plants. Great trustworthy source!
