Howdy from Northeast Texas!
Hey folks!
I just started growing bananas. I grow a ton of fruit here in Z8a just east of Dallas. Figured I'd give bananas a try to see if I can get some fruit in the next few years. Growing these guys inside near a bright window and supplemental lighting from a 240W LED board, if needed, until next spring. Tissue Cultures
Pups
I'd like to try to plant them in ground and dig them up like the method shown on this thread: http://www.bananas.org/f15/time-put-...inter-310.html Sure hope it works out! If y'all have any tips, hints, other threads I should read, please toss them my way. |

Hi Chad-
Welcome aboard the Banana Express. :nanerwaveytrain: At first, I was trying to figure out what part of Texas was a zone 28a (parts of La Palma I could understand), but then my vision cleared up and I saw it was a Z and not a 2, which makes much more sense... :ha: |
