thanks.....currently I am planning to grow banana plants that usually found in my country Malaysia and I'm going to do some research about the characteristic of banana stem.....actually I would like to share whatever opinion and experiences with everybody in this web,at my country Malaysia we seldom use the banana stem for circumcise ceremony, it is hereditary practice among Malay race...but nowadays we are no longer practicing it because of modernization. the reason we are using the banana stem at past time we don't have any modern technology,so the rough surface of banana stem will help to facilitate the process, other than that banana leaves also used to wrap food because its water proof characteristics....there are many more usage of banana plants, so we must keep appreciate and keep continue to look into the specialties of banana plants.

Hi again :). Don't worry about your english. You are doing very good - I can understand what you say. If I had to speak Malaysian, I'm not sure I would do as well :o.
I've seen lots of pictures of the jungles in Malaysia, they're fantastic! Look foreward to seeing more & hearing more about your research as it goes along :).
