Hi everyone. I've been lurking for some time. I started bananas this spring and fell in love with them. I grew a basjoo that got about 12 feet, have several other basjoos, a couple of dwarf cavandish, and a SDC. They all did really good and I had lots of pups. I caged the basjoos and brought the others inside. I have some seeds ordered and thought I'd give that a try. Anyhow, I was messing around tonight and found this product I just had to share. You all probably already seen it but check it out:

Happy to see you join the group here. Interesting product, to say the least, although I never have a banana last long enough to encase it! Clever idea, though.
You must have some great growing conditions to get your banana plants that tall in one season. Tell us more, please. Welcome!!! |

Welcome Michael!
Just a comment on the banana guard - Not all bananas are created equal. Some are short, some are long, some are not so curved . . . Though, I can't imagine why the thing is sold out. Except maybe for the novelty. |
