Going bananas 😊
I recently purchased some red banana tress that i planted in my back yard by my pool. I instantly fell in love with the plant as I have just recently gotten back into gardening and landscaping after an illness.
I found this website in my research on how to best care for these plants. I also was looking to find out how to be a proactive gardener and not reactive. Hope to learn from other people who have also "gone bananas." |

Re: Going bananas 😊
Thanks for the warm reception.
I dod buy a few red banana trees and the leaves have started to get brown, then i saw indications that something was munching on their leaves so i put sevin dust on them. It does not seem to have helped, infect they look worse. I did fertilize them last week with an organic all plant granual. I live in gainesville florida so maybe its the heat? Sorry such rambling on this post. |

I doubt it is the heat. Bananas are tropical plants. They like it hot.
