Good question Nancy. The only experience I have is with a little SDC that I've had for about three weeks. It had a 3" leaf spike when it came home, which has already opened fully and another 3" spike on the way - so at least that plant is growing - in average about 72F. Temperature in the atrium is similar till the sun comes around and then can get into the 80s.

The only thing that gets into the 90s and beyond here is the hot tub. :ha:

I see lots of people here growing and even fruiting nanas in the house, so I hope it's possible here too. I think light is going to be a bigger challenge than temperature.

Also, I'm a guy...... so keeping all things in moderation can be a challenge. I have to resist the urge to plant it in a ten foot planter filled with 100% fertilizer, and a bank of lights that need a diesel generator to run. :weightliftingnaner: (It'll be easier now that I'm (well) past 50.
