Major software upgrade

I just completed a major software upgrade to our website.
If you notice anything that's not working properly anymore, please let me know by either replying here or sending me a PM.
I don't anticipate any problems, but if you happen to find something that seems strange, please let me know!

If you don't anticipate problems, they're bound to crop up! ;) Better to anticipate problems and be pleasantly surprised. :)

Jarred. I noticed something the other day. When you click on a post like this one, something isn't showing up at the top. Right below the Bananas.org logo, there is a picture or something that's not displaying correctly. I can't put my finger on what should be there, but I get a box with nothing in it. I'm looking at this current posting, and the empty box is at the top of this message too. Could you please check it out? Thanks for all that you do!

I see that too Austin.

Also Jarred (Ron and Gabe too),
I like the new ad at the top (Aquarium Forum) because it aligns better and is more appealing. Thanks Jarred or Ron of Gabe!

Can either of you please take a screenshot and upload it somewhere (our gallery perhaps) and send it to me so I can see what you see? I don't notice it with my config. Also let me know what operating system you have and your browser type.
You can use this software to create the screenshot if you need:
Screen Shoot-It
I would really like to fix that! Thanks for pointing it out.

Jarred,

Here's a look at the screen shot. I'm using both Firefox and Explorer on Windows XP. The error shows up in each browser.

Thanks for keeping everything working properly. You do an excellent job.

Thank you, it does not appear in my FireFox installation.
This is what I see:

I will get that fixed asap. TYVM for reporting this!

That's exactly what I see Jarred, and I tried to post the screenshot but I do not know how.

Re: Major software upgrade

My mistake. It wasn't appearing in my Firefox either...just Internet Explorer. Sorry.

Re: Major software upgrade

My MSIE 7.0.5730.11 shows that same as what is showing for Austin. With Safari on my iMac it also has a display error with a little blue box with a question mark in it (I'm new with a Mac and am afraid it would take me too long to post a printscreen with it!).

At least it's just a minor problem, but I did tell you on 1-28 something was bound to come up! ;)

I fixed that, thanks again. Is your middle name Murphey, Harvey? lol

No, I just spent 27 years in agricultura lending with about 20 years of that in auditing. People never plan on making mistakes but I've found time and time again that they still happen! ;)

Jarred, please look at the Folder function in the PM Inbox. I would like to move some mail into a new folder that I created, but in the drop down menu at the bottom of the page, they don't show up. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Austin

Hey Austin! Good question! Here's how it works:
"Move to folder" is selected by default. Just tick the checkbox next to the thread(s) you wish to move. Then all you do is hit "Go" next to the dropdown. The next step will prompt you for where to move it to ;)
It's a little bit confusing at first but if you realize that dropdown is used to identify different actions BEFORE you actually do the action, it makes a bit more sense. Let me know how you fare! Regards
