Default Banana semi-circle....?

Hi all. I'm interested in using the banana circle concept but to support just one banana (maybe two max). I'm planning on digging a pit that is watered by my roof run off and planting a banana in the berm. A typical banana circle that accommodates 5 or so is dug 2 feet deep and 6 feet wide. If you were going to only plant one or two bananas in the berm, how deep and wide would you make the hole? Thanks in advance.
