Yeah, well I've heard that before, just like others on the site. The proof is in the photo. Some bananas are identifiable when young, but most look pretty much alike. An Ae Ae is rather obvious, but to me a pup 'Blue Jave' looks like most other banana pups. Requesting a photo should not be interpreted as a personal affront (and I'm not saying you took it that way), it's more of a 'trust but verify' sort of thing.
I have a Blue Java, too, but I saw the fruit of the plant it pupped from when I separated it, so I know what it is. I can't blame someone for wanting to see photos.
