Later summer and lots of rain tend to bring these out. I'm also having the same issues on my banana plants.

Yes, we don't see them in the day, I thought I saw a small white fly though, yesterday, when I took the photo. We try not to treat the Namwa but nature is just too hungry around here.
Spraying these big plants is not going to be an easy job. I will have to evaluate if it's worth doing or not.
