I have a few types. My yunnanensis died but it was planted in a spot where plants seem to suffer and/or die (Musa thompsonii has been in that spot for a few years now and has survived but has never been more than about 2' high). Last winter was very mild so it is no surprise that my itinerans types survived. Hopefully they will make it. I'll mulch them well this year.
