We haven't had frost here for about two weeks now, but I looked at two different forcasts, and they say we could get something tomorrow night and Saturday night. One says Fri 28°F and Sat 35°F. The other says Fri 23°F and Sat 32°F.
Last year, we uncovered the basjoos on April 17. Everything survived, and we managed to save the p-stems right to the top. The first picture shows one of the uncovered stems.

The leaf started unfurling right away. It was kind of yellow, from lack of light, but had turned green after several hours.
