Description

This new edible variety has the best of both worlds. They took the beauty of the ornamental Zebrina banana and crossed it with the popular dessert banana 'Grand Nain' for its edible fruit. So you end up with a plant that has a purple underleaf and pattered top leaf. The fruit is very small making it more of an ornamental than eating variety, however the leaves are much wider than its progenitor creating a gorgeous landscape addition.
