Description

'Sikkimensis' is the same cultivar as 'hookerii'. This is a fast growing, good suckering plant with a thin trunk originated in North India, elevation 6000-7000 feet. More attractive than 'basjoo', it is maroon with a slightly copper underside. 'Sikkimensis is prone to rot when frozen back.
