  • Time To Harvest - 12-22 months

Cultivation

  • Mature Height - 9.5 ft 8-13 feet of pseudo stem.

  • Wind - Leaves may break in heavy winds especialy after heavy watering, but the pseudo stems are stable.
  • Sun - Full
  • Taste Description - Very strong tropical taste with Apple and Pineapple overtones. Much sweeter and less acidic as they ripen.
  • Personal Notes - Very susceptible to skin splitting if left on the bunch to ripen. Better to harvest the whole bunch at the fist sign of ripening.
  • Growth tips - Plant away from dry hot spots like concrete driveways. Pups have a tendency to grow off the mother corm very deep under ground making them rather difficult to separate. Some suckers have come up a foot away from the mother.
