Montecristo JAMAICAN RED Cuban Red, Red

DESCRIPTION: a ss.variant of the Cavendish family of bananas Truly nobility among banana cultivars. The brilliant coloring of both the plant and the fruit are stunning. the plant is extremely vigorous, producing its delicious crop in 30 months time. The trunk, leaf petioles, midribs, and the 4" fruits are varying shades of red. The pulp is cream orange colored, very aromatic and has a wonderful taste. rather tallish and skinny in stature compared to other Cavendish types requires a fairly long growing time
