Description

This is a tall plantain with long, strongly curved fruits that give rise to is common name. The colorful pseudostem and petioles make this an excellent landscaping plant, but too big for most containers. This banana may be eaten ripe or cooked like other plantains. ‘African Rhino Horn’ has attractive foliage and can reach up to 20’ in height, making it a conversation piece.
