About the project

This wiki is designed to fulfill the need of an extensive database of bananas on the internet. Anyone is welcome to add their information to our site, to help other people learn from you when doing their own banana research. You can even edit this page.

What you can do

  • First, start off by registering for an account. Then, once your account is created, visit any page and, if you feel so inclined, add more information by clicking either the edit tab at the top of the page, or the edit tab next to any set of content.
  • Next, visit the task list for these and other steps to get started.
  • You can start a new page by adding the title to the URL in your address bar, like in the example below.

http://www.bananas.org/wiki/Your_Title_Here The resulting page will allow you to start that article and submit it to the community. Make sure to link to it from another page, so it's not lost in space.

  • Have fun finding pages lost in space (if you can find any) by clicking the random page link found on the left of the screen, in the navigation box.
  • You're encouraged to upload photos to our photo gallery once you have created your account and have logged in. Then please take another several moments and add those pictures to their respective best locations in the wiki.
  • This is the link to search for the new posts in the forums. You may also use this link to search for all forum posts within the last 24 hours.
  • If you need help, have suggestions, or feedback, please post in the support forum.

Where to find things

  • At the top of the page, you have a set of navigation links.
  • At the left of the page, you also have another set of navigation links.
  • And, at the bottom of the page, you have another set of useful links.

You can search or browse the site help and suggestions forum to find more useful information. Feel free to start a new thread over there if you would like some help.
