Up for auction is a softball size (at the base) offset which can be seen in the picture growing from the mother plant. They are over 2 1/2 feet tall and will be cut back and sent in a flat rate box to keep shipping reasonable. These will grow back quickly and respond well to plenty of water and sun. To give you an idea of what growth to expect, the two mother plants were the same size as these offsets last year. They are now 5 1/2 feet tall with an 8 inch base and starting to form their trunks at the soil line. Trunks can grow up to 4 feet tall after several years making the plants look quite spectacular with the huge leaves towering over your head. Hardy to zones 7-11.
