OH ... the hot sun! ... Young banana plants need some filtered shading from the sun during the heat of the day. Most potted plants have been kept inside and will need to be slowly acclimated to...

Bananas grow best in low to mid 80's temps. The temps you want to watch out for are below 60 deg (stops growing) & above 90 deg (stops growing & sunburns). ... Watering a potted banana once a day...
