I live in a similar climate. Are your bananas indoors in pots? The difficult thing is going to be your humidity which is probably single digits indoors and out most of the year.

If you have neighbors or friends with chickens or other poultry you may be able to score some used bedding/litter. I have chickens and quail and even with three huge compost bins I don't have space...

Full sun is OK and desirable. Yes it was way too much water. It has been my experience that goji berries will not set fruit if they are not kept a bit on the dry side. They need very good drainage...

I battled spider mites in a grow room. Spider mite predators work wonders. Google them, then buy some.

If you don't mind the aesthetics, by lining the ceiling with reflective film...

How much sun are your nanners getting? If they aren't getting enough there will be no fruit, or less fruit that take a long time to get here.
