I would have guessed Orinoco only because it looks exactly like mine which is also in flower now, first hand has 3 fingers on it but we have short season here no chance of having any harvest.

I planted what was left of the rhizome in the ground, not holding much hope it's still alive but who knows.

They are so small I could barely eben see them I do not think camera would catch them, they did look like they started out as some type of work before they got the legs & some of them were jumping...

Trial & error is what you will need to do, rest assured you have a great network of experts in here. Be careful there is no cure after you buy your first plant! That's how it all starts. 10 years ago...

First small aeroponic unit is up & running. I used some small Alocasia babies to start system up I will sub out some banana pups after I confirm nutrients aren't too strong, I have lots of these...

As far as the nutrients go here is what I plan to use to start:

Quickgro
15.8 Nitrogen
5% phosphate
13% potassium Oxide (potash)
4% calcium
3% magnesium
7% sulfur
1% iron

Keep an eye on the base of the plant I have had several be green in middle & die at the base, I learned to just trim it off at ground level & it recovers a lot faster than trying the emerging leaf...
