Ironically, Goldfinger bananas (FHIA-01) are not finger size. They are larger, though their size varies with how they are cared for, which is true of any banana. Mysore are closer to finger size...

Those bananas in the smaller bunch look like Mysore, not Goldfinger, to me.

The flowers being retained on the rachis in the first pic is normal, as is the rachis being clean on the other pic. It just depends on the cultivar. Cutting off everything below the last hand is up...

PR's bunches are almost enough to give a guy a complex lol. I have gotten mysore bunches almost that size, It took a lot of mulch and horse manure. Most bananas in south Fla take 4-6 months to ripen.

Congratulations on your bloom. Mysore are certainly one of the best among the first-class eating bananas.

You can water a lot when it's this hot. It also could use a bit of temporary shade for it.

During the hot months I water every day. Twice a day when we have a heat wave
I recently added a misting system on a timer. 30 min every 2 hours during the hot part of the day, manners love it

You don't mention your location.

The plants have definitely has some heat stress combined with insufficient water.

Part of the issue is that the plant is still short and close to the ground, and...
