Half regular Miracle Grow potting soil (Not Moisture Control). Half perlite. Pottery shards in the bottom topped with gravel then the mixture.

Joy Killing a High Color Mini

I bought a high color mini last week, and it looks bad. The edges of the leaves are a little yellowish, and it hasn't grown any. I have fertilized it, just a tiny bit. Was hoping to see improvement...

I have it in a pot, with a large hole drilled in the bottom. Covered the hole with a large rock, then put a little gravel. Soil is half perlite and good potting soil. Anything else to do for drainage?

My DC is a baby, it's my first one, and its leaves started turning yellow. Layed off on the water, but it kept getting worse. Watered it with miracle grow and while the yellow leaves still look bad,...

Any way, I live in Alabama, any advice would be nice. I am excited about the plant. Got a dwarf Orinoco and 2 dwarf Cavendish.
