Arrogant bastard has a very heavy early hop flavor. It can be a bit much if you don't like bitter beer. Another really good one is Rogue Dead guy ale. It is not as bitter and has a good sweetness...

I good wee heavy is very nice, but if they are not lagered correctly can be really sweet. They have a really nice warming quality to them.

When one of my plants have done that, it usually doesn't have good results and dies back to the ground or slows down so much that a pup catches up with it.

Orinoco do great in eastern NC. They come back every year without protection and if I protect the psuedostem with plastic or bubble wrap they survive sometimes too.

If you want to make a bin on the cheap, go to some construction sites and ask for wood out of their trash pile. It is usually very acceptable wood. That is how I built my chicken house.

I got my orinoco to fruit by wrapping it with bubble wrap for the winter and piling pine straw around the base.
