I've had my banana do that also in the past when small. I definitely think it has to do with the change in sunlight. The new leaves look even healthier than the old ones so I don't think it's a bad...

I think it looks great! The basjoo and the cannas are perfectly spaced from each other to give a nice tropical look that isn't too crowded and all the landscape work is definitely looking good!...
