I had the same problem. My dogs love the small banana pups. They step on the baby bananas, grab the young banana plants and shake and shred them. I had to put up a fence and separate them. :nanadrink:

The clumpers take a little time to start sending up a lot of culms but they will. Mine are starting to grow some. In a few years they will look like Arachnotron's.

I yanked out all my Muscadines and replaced them with seeded and seedless Concord. Pierce's disease will eventually wipe them out in S FL but I'll still get to enjoy one of my favorite varieties. ...

I had fruit last year, and I'm a good 3 hours North of you & West of course.. and some day hope to get fruit in Lower Arkansas.. :^)
