Nice. I'm happy for you. Clean that up, cut the dead stuff with clean tools and replant in pure coarse sand. It'll come back faster and better.

As I stated in your last thread: I would plant in in coarse sand and would move it away from the windows and heating source...
This is not coarse sand. And it's still by the window...

I would put some more dirt around the corm (It doesn't look fully buried) and give it another month. Bananas don't care much for replanting and even here in Florida in the ground they take 3-4 weeks...

Do not cut the stem. No need to. When you replant in sand, make sure that the corm is buried but not more than needed. It should be fine.

Some may not agree but it works for me and my stuff is in pots and inside most of the year.
Peel the dry stuff near the corm and then replant it in coarse...

sun up at 8:00 down around 4:00 you must be around zone 5 or 6.
