DC and Gran Nain are both in the Cavendish subgroup. I think DC is a little shorter and the fruit it makes has a thinner peel. They should taste pretty much the same.

I used maxi grow by general hydroponics. Grew bananas like nobodies business.

It is easy to use and works well.

Wow, small world. I have spent a lot of time in Zoo town. Your doing it right, keep increasing the amount of time you leave it outside and it will adjust well.

Hey Steve, I am no expert but once they start to wilt I usually let them dry a little first and then cut them off about two inches from the stem. Seems to work fine.
