You are a brave person to hang a banana bunch on a white door 😀. I would be scared of irreversible stains and a paint job.

The Super Dwarf looks like a Cavendish. I had one flower once, but the baby bananas didn't develope. The Namwah looks very nice. It will probably get close to 12' before it produces a flower.

I wouldnt cut of you dont need to. Tie them up loosely. You dont want the crown to be wet, or the ground very wet. You can make a box with 1x2s and cover it with poly, or even better Styrofoam...
