I have two mats of Saba, one has a pseudostem shooting now. This picture was taken more then a week ago. I'll get another soon. Given the long grow time before shooting I prefer other cultivars that...

My saba was a tc when I got it. I think it's about 10 feet tall now. I received it fall of 2009 and put it out in the yard over the summer.

Saba takes a year and a half to pop fruit, m/m. They are best if eaten plumped, green. That's another 3-4 months.
I don't grow them for fruit anymore - just for pups for sale or auction.
