It might? You can try. Or it might be better to leave the pups on so if you DO dig the pups, and the mother does anyway, then it would be longer for you to get fruit

I use Expert Potting Soil. It is cheaper than Miracle grow and I also put Jobs plant feeder spikes. 12 inch pot I use 2. My plants are growing and making babies like crazy!oh and I keep burying cut...

Wrong ... I'm in zone 8 and had 24 bunches last year. Do a forum search for 'cold hardy' bananas. Because of the shorter growing season dwarf types would be better. .... And stop cutting...

Thanks for the response! It seems like it should be near blooming but it hasn't changed much at all for months now.

It doesn't look like an obvious bulge to my eyes but here are a couple more pics....

There is a Super Dwf Cav that is sometimes sold as a Truly Tiny. The Super Dwf Cav get about 4 to 5 ft at the pstem crown. The Truly Tiny and Little Joey maxs out at 3 ft at the pstem crown.
