I agree with Iowa ... commercial potting soil is OK ... with or without fertilizer. Some of the Dollar store brands do not have or has very little fertilizer.

The leaves are stacked really close together and there is a hint at 'wine stains' on the leaves, ... so these are SDC or may be Truly Tiny. Real Truly Tinys should not have wine stains but many SDC...

Just mist the plant and move it out of the direct sun; just give it bright light. Only water the pot IF the bottom of the pot is near dry. Check the soil though the drain holes.

Let me state the obvious..... It is getting too much sun :ha::08: So move it to an area that doesn't get as much sun :ha:. put a top mulch on top, ideally woodchips, about two to three inches thick....

The number of ridges has to do with where the finger is in the hand, how they press against each other as they grow, its not a diagnostic trait. You have to look at the whole plant.

Cut an Orinoco finger section (cross cut) then you can see there is only 3 ribs in the peal. As the finger fattens the bulge sometime look like another rib.
