Re: My Variegated Florida finally growing
Beautiful plant. You are definitely getting great growth. Depending on how much humidity you have in your area you might want to keep it in part sun. Or else the white areas will burn. Good luck....

Re: Nor Cal Newbie
There are some good discussions on this on this forum. Use the search function. Off the top of my head I remember California Gold, Namwa and Dwarf Brazilian being some of the hardiest.

Re: Musa Aeae White Variegated
They can definitely go way lower then 60f. Mine is only 3-4’ tall in a 15 gallon pot. This winter we had over 350 hours of chill (below 45f) and it did fine.

Re: I got my AeAe!
My AeAe made it through the winter fine. It did lose a couple leaves. I'm worried about what will happen when we have a colder winter. We only got down to about 37 degrees this winter. The AeAe...

My Paggi made it through the winter fine. The lowest we got down to was 37-38 degrees. It has no damage. My Gros Michel on the other hand has brown spots all over its leaves. But it is in a more...

Re: 'Highgate' and 'Cocos'
I thought I would resurrect this old thread. Now that Highgate is available as tissue culture, who has tasted it? Gabe since you have tasted Gros Michel, Coco's and Highgate do they taste the same?...

Re: Highgate - Dwarf Gros Michel for sale
I have got to say that it is strange that you haven’t got a bigger response to these being available. To me this variety is the Holy Grail of bananas. It is a shorter, stouter variety of Gros Michel....
