The corm is the white potato looking thing. IT IS the banana plant. the pstem is just a growing limb & a collection of leaves. The soil line is where the pstem turns white at the bottom. It...

Looking fine......stay the course.....

Newly planted plants will take time to adjust......
Give 30 days + for the plant to sort itself out.

Re: 3 sick bananas

Ya. Rot or choking. I would cut a couple inches off the top. If the center is still black, brown, or otherwise not completely white, keep going. If it goes all the way to the corm (roots) then the...

Re: Pups growing at the expense of mother plant?

That plant appears to be close to blooming. The leaves at the top are stacked out. And, there could be a choke. Is there a noticeable bulge in the pstem?

Re: Unboxing Festivities

Don't let me stop you, but you would get fruit sooner (if that is what you want) if you purchased pups from members here. They are bigger and more than likely have a bigger corm, = faster growth. I...
