Very interesting! The TARS catalogue and guide to South Pacific bananas both list the Pisang Raja as AAB, with growth patterns that don't seem as lengthy as the red...

I'm not sure, I don't hear it talked about much, there is a poor taste review out there but that is very subjective. I know it is some people's favorite tasting banana also. The going bananas...
